You bought a magazine for $5 and four erasers. You spent a total of $25. How much did each eraser cost?

Subtract the cost of the magazine from what you spent:
$25 - $5 = $20.

If you spent $20 on 4 erasers, we divide 20/4 = $5 per eraser
