subtract w from u, triple the result, then multiply v by what you have

Take this algebraic expression in 3 parts:

1) subtract w from u:
u - w

2) Triple the result means we multiply u - w by 3:
3(u - w)

3) Multiply v by what you have. What you have means the result from step 2:
3v(u - w)
